architectural technologist

Core Architects are an established medium size practice with an exciting mix of projects across multiple sectors and currently have an opportunity for an Architectural Technologist to join our Lincoln office.
We require someone to work on projects typically ranging in value from £1m – £20m mainly across the residential sector. This will include projects from planning to construction stages.

The successful candidate will have a proven portfolio gained over the last 3-5 years working on similar type and value projects. The candidate will be confident, enthusiastic with good communication skills and be able to work intuitively both alone and as part of a team.
Applicants should ideally live locally within easy commuting distance of Lincoln.
A high attention to detail and a sound level of knowledge using AutoCAD and Revit software is essential. A grounded understanding of UK building standards and regulations is also critical.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Architectural Technologist to work with a proactive practice who have an emerging reputation for quality design and delivery.

what we’re looking for

    three to five years professional experience working to a high standard ideally on residential developments

  • 02

    a high proficiency in AutoCAD and Sketchup with knowledge of of the Adobe Suite and BIM modelling

  • 03

    a good working knowledge of UK building standards, regulations and experince in construction detailing

  • 04

    a well rounded individual who is able to communicate and work both alone and as part of a dynamic team with a passion for design and construction
